Nekre is the Daughter of Gemma Sinclair. Gemma while working
at Los Alamos National labs was exposed to intense radiation with pregnant with
Nerkra.
The result manifested in Nerka being born with several
genetic mutations. Including white skin and several vampiric abilities.
She connected with the Madriill a mutant also affected by
the same accident and the two formed a bond.
They have attempted to overthrown several African Nations
but have been stopped by the Avengers, and later the Black Panther.
Nekra would partner with the criminal known as the Grimm Reapers
and for a time share a romantic relationship with him.
Superhuman Powers: Nekra possesses superhuman strength,
speed, stamina, durability, and agility.
Abilities
Nekra is a formidable hand to hand combatant, even without
the use of any of her powers. She is also proficient in various voodoo rituals,
particularly the creation and manipulation of zombies. She's developed her own
unique hybrid of Voodoo practices, namely combining teachings of Black Talon
and the Cult of Kali.
