The Black Blade is a rather unusual katana. As noted in its description it is quite short, roughly equal in length to Bloodlust and Darkdrift, and it is also quite heavy, being the fourth-heaviest behind the Washing Pole, Onikiri and Ubadachi and Frayed Blade. However, it has excellent base damage, and a different set of strong attacks than what is normal on most katanas
If infused with a Sharp Gem and used with very high amounts of Dexterity, the Black Blade deals among the most physical damage of all katanas in the game.

A short katana wielded by the swordsman and distinguished guest of High Lord Wolnir. This shiny black blade is thick, but shorter than the typical katana.
The swordsman was a master of a rare technique, traces of which can be observed in this weapon's strong attack.
Skill: Hold
Assume a holding stance to rapidly execute a lunging slash with normal attack, or a deflecting parry with strong attack.

"And she is your rightful ruler. Those of you that have sailed under her, and there are many of you here, you know what she is! She is a reaver! She is a warrior! She is Ironborn! We will find no better leader! This is our queen!" ―Theon Greyjoy declaring Yara as the rightful Queen of the Iron Islands.

Queen Yara Greyjoy is an ironborn, Theon Greyjoy's older sister and his only surviving sibling. She was raised at Pyke, the stronghold of House Greyjoy. Yara is a fierce warrior and commands her own longship. She is currently a claimant to the throne of the Kingdom of the Iron Islands and an ally of DaenerysTargaryen.

"The Iron Throne is mine by right. All those that deny that are my foes."

―Stannis Baratheon

Stannis is one of the most accomplished field generals in the Seven Kingdoms. He fought for his brother King Robert during his rebellion against The Mad King. At one point he was besieged at Storm's End and would have starved if not for the smuggler Davos Seaworth.

Stannis destroyed the Greyjoy fleet during their failed rebellion and was made Lord of Dragonstone and given a position on the small council as Master of Ships. He was later converted to worship the Lord of Light by the witch Melisandre who is called the Red Woman.

After Roberts death he killed his brother Renly and launched and attack on Kings Landing only to be turned back by the city defense of Tyrion Lanisster and the timely arrival of Tywin Lannister led forces including the Tyrell forces. Stannis would later be killed by Brienne of Tarth as payment for the death of Renly Baratheon.

"Where is it written that power is the sole province of the worst? That thrones are only made for the hated and the feared? You would be a wonderful king."

―Loras Tyrell to Renly Baratheon

Ser Loras Tyrell was a popular tourney knight and ranked as one of the most skilled knights in Westeros. He defeated the Mountain in a jousting duel to the surprise of many. His victory cost Littlefinger 100 gold dragons in a bet with Renly.  But he was latter bested in sparing match against Briene of Tarth.  He had an intimate relationship with Renly Baratheon and was the brother of Margaery Tyrell . After being incarcerated for months and confessing his guilt before the High Sparrow, he abdicated his titles and became known as Brother Loras. However, he died mere minutes later along with his father and sister when the Great Sept of Baelor was destroyed in a plot orchestrated by Cersei Lannister.

"We've had vicious kings and we've had idiot kings, but I don't know if we've ever been cursed with a vicious idiot for a king."

―Tyrion Lannister to his nephew King Joffrey Baratheon

King Joffrey I Baratheon is a major character in the first, second, third, and fourth seasons. Though believed by most to be the eldest son of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister, Joffrey is actually a bastard born from Cersei's incestuous relationship with her twin brother, Ser Jaime Lannister of the Kingsguard. He is the older brother of Myrcella Baratheon and Tommen Baratheon, both of whom share the same parentage with Cersei and Jaime Lannister.
He is the Grandson of Tywin Lannister and the Nephew of Tyrion Lanister.

"The night is dark and full of terrors, old man, but the fire burns them all away."

―Melisandre, to Cressen

The Red Woman is the closest adviser of Stannis Baratheon and servant of the Lord of Light. She is opposed by Ser Davos who is a loyal follower of Stannis and a friend of his daughter. Melisandre is a very old witch having lived for centuries. She is exiled by John Snow after the death of Stannis at the hands of Brienne of Tarth.

―Cersei Lannister to Eddard Stark

Cersei Lannister is the only daughter and eldest child of Lord Tywin Lannister of Casterly Rock and his wife, Lady Joanna Lannister. She is the twin of her younger brother, Ser Jaime Lannister. In the television adaptation Game of Thrones Cersei is played by Lena Headey, and is portrayed by Nell Williams in a Season 5 flashback.

"All men should keep their word, kings most of all."

―Robb Stark

Robb Stark is the eldest son of Eddard Stark and CatelynTully and is the heir of House Stark to Winterfell and the north. He is called the Young Wolf by friend and foe alike.

His siblings are Sansa, Arya, Bran and Rickon. John Snow is his cousin and Theon Greyjoy is for a time hims closest friend. He is killed by Walder Frey and Roose Bolton at the infamous Red Wedding.

"I did what I had to do to survive, my lady. But I am a Stark, I will always be a Stark."

―Sansa to Lyanna Mormont

Sansa was born and raised at Winterfell. She has an older brother, Robb, two younger brothers, Bran
and Rickon, a younger sister, Arya and a "bastard half-brother" Jon Snow, whom she had a distant relationship with due to her mother's influence (which, like her mother, Sansa later regretted). Sansa enjoys proper "lady-like" pursuits, and is good at sewing, embroidering, poetry, singing, dancing, literature and music. When she was young she dreamed of being a regal Queen like Cersei Lannister, and that just like in the epic songs she would meet her knight in shining armor. She has inherited her mother's Tully coloring, unlike most of her siblings, and Lady Catelyn thinks Sansa will be even more beautiful than she was when she was younger. She is often seen in contrast with her sister, Arya Stark who has neither her looks nor her accomplishments in feminine activities and comportment.

"What wife would do the things I've done for you? What wife would trust you the way I've trusted you? When you gave me those drops and told me to pour them into Jon's wine. My husband's wine. And you told me to write a letter to Cat telling her it was the Lannisters..."
―Lysa Arryn to Petyr Baelish, admitting she committed mariticide for him

Lady Regent of the Vale, widow of Jon Arryn the former Hand of King Robert Baratheon, She is the sister of Catelyn Stark and the aunt of Robb Stark, Sansa Stark, Bran Stark and Rickon Stark. She later marries Little Finger

"I don't care if he's a bastard; Ned Stark's blood runs through his veins. He's my king, from this day until his last day!"
―Lady Lyanna Mormont

Jon Snow, born Aegon Targaryen, is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, the late Prince of Dragonstone. From infancy, Jon is presented as the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark, Lyanna's brother, and raised alongside Eddard's lawful children at Winterfell. Jon's true parentage is kept secret from everyone, including Jon himself, in order to protect him from those that sought the complete annihilation of House Targaryen.

Jon joins the Night's Watch and is later elected as Lord Commander. As a result of several controversial decisions, such as allowing the wildlings to settle south of the Wall, Jon is murdered in a mutiny, but is resurrected by Melisandre.

Freed from his Night's Watch vows, Jon and his half-sister Sansa Stark retake Winterfell from House Bolton, restoring House Stark's dominion over the North. Jon is declared King in the North.

Jon negotiates with Daenerys Targaryen for an alliance against the White Walkers in the imminent Great War. Later he pledges himself and his army to Daenerys, whom he falls in love with, subsequently abdicating his throne and being named Warden of the North.[2]

Later, Jon learns his true lineage from Samwell Tarly, revealing Daenerys is his aunt. A dragonrider whose dragon was Rhaegal, he fights in the Battle of Winterfell, during which the Night King is defeated and the return of the Long Night is prevented. Afterwards, Jon aids Daenerys in her resumed campaign to take the Iron Throne and participates in the Battle of King's Landing. However, when Daenerys lays waste to a surrendered King's Landing, Jon tries but is unable to dissuade her from more destruction and assassinates her to prevent further carnage.

"Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods... illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is. " ―Petyr Baelish to Varys

Lord Petyr Baelish, popularly called Littlefinger, was the Master of Coin on the Small Council. He is a skilled manipulator and uses his ownership of brothels in King's Landing to both accrue intelligence on political rivals and acquire vast wealth. Baelish's spy network is eclipsed only by that of Varys. After marrying Lady Lysa Tully, widow of Lord Jon Arryn of the Vale, and her subsequent death at his hand, he becomes the Lord Protector of the Vale. Because of his relationship with Robin's mother, Baelish is able to heavily influence the young Lord Robin Arryn, the new Lord Paramount of the Vale. More
